Hyatt opened its first hotel in Los Angeles in 1957 when Hyatt R. von Dehn started his venture in the hospitality business. For over 40 years, von Dehn and his new company expanded and added many hotels throughout the United States at prime vacation and tourism locations. In 1994, after von Dehn was gone and the company expanded greatly through the decades, Hyatt entered the vacation ownership industry. It opened the Hyatt Vacation Club, which allowed thousands of families around the country to own a piece of paradise in several locations around the world. Thakurdeo Rampersaud is proud to be a part of this tradition. In 1995, the Hyatt Vacation Club opened its first resort for members, Hyatt Sunset Harbor, in Key West, Florida. When Thakurdeo Rampersaud was studying and training to become a Certified Public Accountant, the Hyatt Vacation Club responded to increasing demand for its properties and opened 13 new resorts over 12 years.

Thakurdeo Rampersaud helps Hyatt Vacation Ownership, Inc. by managing financial policies and reporting. His efforts make it possible for the company to keep all of its resorts up to date and all of its customers satisfied with their expanding services. Mr. Rampersaud has worked hard over the years to maintain his certification as a public accountant with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
